Thomas Jackson Frew was born 1881, his birth registered Horsham, Victoria, the son of William Frew and Sarah J. Widdison. [1]
In 1911, he married Emma Anderside. The Edwardian Index shows her birthplace as Dimboola and his as Jang (meaning Jung). [2][3] They had at least three children: Stanley, Colin & Florence.

FREW - ANDERSIDES.
The marriage of Miss Emma Andersides, adopted daughter of Mrs. Pressey, of Wallup, with Mr Thomas J. Frew, of Jung, was celebrated at the Wallup Presbyterian Church on April 5th. A large gathering was present to witness the ceremony. The church was beautifully decorated by the girl friends of the bride. The Rev. W. Naismith was the officiating clergyman, assisted by the Rev. W. Evans. The bride's attendants were the Misses Pressey and Lawson, with Miss Ivy Lawson as train-bearer, while two little girls, Maggie Pressey and Laura Maddern, fulfilled the part of flower girls. cont... The friends of Mr. Thomas Frew, of Dooen North, will regret to learn that he is in a critical condition. He is an inmate of "Abbotsleigh." [5]
Thomas Jackson Frew passed away 24th May, 1923, aged 41 years. His death was registered at Horsham, Victoria, recording his parents as William Frew and Sarah Jane Widdison. [6]
He was interred in the Horsham Cemetery, where, in 1980, he was joined by his widow. [7]
