Mr. and Mrs. John Frey were German and came with their children from Erie, Penn. Mr. Frey was a Lutherab and lived his religion as he saw it and was interested in the Sunday-school. His numerous family were useful, helpful people. Mary, the eldest daughter, was a beritable mother in Israel. Eliza, the second daughter was a country school teacher for years and was a power for good both then and after she ceased teaching. Two of the children still live. Frank W. Frey, whose wife is Agnes Wightman and Mrs. Anna Frey Green. Mr. Frank Frey lives in PleasantbHill and his sister in Oregon. [1]
