Heinrich is the son of Hans Frick and Elsbeth Haberlin-Frick. He married Elizabeth Regula Bar in 1653. Heinrich was called Henry. He was a landowner of 2 big farms called the Frickthal.. and he was a school teacher in the Kronan Canton of Zurich Switzerland. Henry also was an ardent follower of the Mennonite Faith. A Dutchmen with the last name of Simons started the Mennonites, which means Menno-Simons for the man whom started this religion. Mennonites were considered very unpopular in Switzerland, as their State religion was only Roman Catholic, if you didn't abide by their religion you were thrown into jail. Henry was imprisoned for his religious beliefs and his outspoken opposition to the Roman Catholics..he was imprisoned for 27 months and harshly mistreated as well as others. His land was either sold or rented out to other Roman Catholics. Henry roamed Switzerland in misery and poverty until He took His wife Elizabeth Regula to Unter Pflaz or Rheish Palatinate,Germany .it is written that Heinrich and Elizabeth died in Under-Riferswill Switzerland on April 20th 1685..All of the Frick spoke German.[1]
