Note: In the 1772 census of West Prussia he is listed as a Gruetzmuller in Lindenau who owned 10 Morgen of land. His family consisted of his wife, 3 sons under 12 and 3 daughters under 12.
In the 1776 census of Mennonites in West Prussia he is also listed as a Gruetzer in Lindenau with his wife, 4 sons and 2 daughters.
In the 1789 census of Mennonite Landowners in West Prussia he was still in Lindenau, owning 10 Morgen of land.
He must have died sometime between the baptism of his daughter Elisabeth in 1789 and that of his surviving son Bernhard in 1795.
