Ed married Sarah Dyck on 20 November 1942 at Carlton, Saskatchewan. They had eight children.
Ed died on 25 June 2010 in Outlook and District Health Centre, Outlook, Saskatchewan. He was buried in Fertile Valley Cemetery, Conquest, Saskatchewan.[1]
