Tobias was born in 1801 the son of veterinarian Fritz Frick. In 1838 he married Anna (Nielsen) Frick[1] By 1845 he had three children and working as a blacksmith and day labourer. [2][3] The 1860 census records him living in Abenra, Denmark with his wife and youngest son Peter. [4][5]
Over the coming years his wife Anna passed away in 1864 and his children Tobias, Anna and Niels will marry with Tobias immigrating to Queensland, Australia and Anna to America. Niels would relocate to Kolding and youngest Peter to Horsens in Denmark. His last days were lived in a workhouse where he passed away in 1889 unaware that his son Tobias Christian died in St. Lawrence, Queensland in 1871. [6]
