Eloi Frilot, son of Francois Frilot and Charlotte Georges, was born on 22 April 1819 and baptized on 27 Oct. 1825, his birth and baptism were recorded at St. Martin of Tours, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, USA.
He married Adele Frilot, his first cousin and daughter of Eitenne Frilot and Felicite Olivier, on 23 Dec. 1844, their marriage was recorded at St. Peter Catholic Church, New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana. Adele died the following year on 24 July 1845.
He married Judith Deville, daughter of Jean Devile and Amelia Oliver, on 18 March 1847, their marriage was recorded at St. Peter Catholic Church, New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana.
Eloi seems to have died shortly after his marriage to Judith. Perhaps in 1849 or so. Judith had a child, Marianne, with Jules Vincent in Dec. 1853 and may have had a child earlier with Jules, however they were not married until 1869. It s possible that Eloi was still alive until the 1860s and that is why the marriage was delayed.
Felicite b. c 1845. died 1869. married Leon Boutte. THIS CHILD IS ONLY A POSSIBILITY - mothers name is a question, but there does not seem to be any other Eloi as a father.
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Eloi by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Eloi:
