Important Note

This Margaret Frink is NOT the daughter of Isaac Frink and Anna (Noyes) Frink. That daughter married Walter Palmer III on 22 May 1760. (See same page as marriage reference for Reuben Brown and this Margaret Frink below in biography).This information is further proved by the Will of Isaac Frink.^[1][2]

Margaret was born Date Uncertain, the daughter of Not Yet Established, in Not Certain.

Birth Research Notes

• Note 1) "Brown Genealogy" Volume 1 states wife of Reuben "unknown".^[4]
• Note 2) "Brown Genealogy" Volume 2 has wife of Reuben listed as Margaret __________.^[5]
• Note 3) While the "Brown Genealogy" states that there is no marriage record in the town of Stonington, there is the church record as listed in the Marriage Section below, and that distinctly states her name was Margaret Frink. (Out of the hundreds of records T Counce has looked up in that reference they have all been 100% correct).
• Note 4) So far, this Margaret Frink does not exist in the "Frink Family in America" book, but T Counce has someone looking in the book to see if maybe she was born somewhere other than in Stonington. It has been determined that Reuben Brown is NOT listed in that book.
• Note 5) Based on Margaret's possible age at the time of her marriage she could have been born anywhere from 1737 to 1742. Earlier than 1737 is possible, but not likely.

Margaret was married to Reuben Brown on 11 Feb 1762, in the First Congregational Church of Stonington, by Reverend Nathaniel Eells.^[6]

Death

Exactly, or even approximately when Margaret died has yet to be found. We know from the probate records that she was alive at the time that she requested to be the Administrator of Reuben's estate in 1781, so it logical that she died sometime after that. When more information has been found, this paragraph will be totally changed.
