Obit 5 JUL 2015. Note: Herbert John Friske (86) passed away peacefully July 1, 2015 surrounded by his loving children. Herbert was born March 31, 1929 in Rockne, Texas to Bruno Friske and Agnes Probst Friske. Herbert is survived by his children, Kelley Friske Goertz of Houston and John Friske of Maui; daughter-in-law Melanie R Friske and son-in-law Michael C. Goertz; six grandchildren, Matthew Herbert, Kaia M., Caden M. and Brenna M. Goertz, Colten W. and Scarlett R. Friske; sister, Alma Friske Meuth and brother-in-law , Virgil Meuth; sisters-in-law, Eva Meuth Friske and Jenease Windham Friske; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Rosary will be said for Herbert at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockne. A Celebration of Herbert's life will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with graveside military honors following at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
