Former Chester Resident
Mrs. Miranda. A. Lister Fritz. 78, widow of Alonzo W. Fritz, died at her home in Northeast, Md., on Saturday. She had been ill for several weeks.
Mrs. Fritz was born at 18th st, and Edgmont av., and lived there until moving to Northeast 30 years ago. She was formerly organist and Sunday School teacher at North Chester Baptist Church, 23d st. and Providence av.
She is survived by three sons, Walter L. of Aston Mills, Clarence A, of Northeast, and Albert W. of Chester; four daughters, Mrs. Irene F, Schultz of Garden City, Mrs. Miranda A. Fitzgerald of Chester, Mrs. Anna Kaminski and Mrs. Laura Bowers, both of Northeast; two brothers, James E. and Benjamin S. Lister, both of Upland; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p. m. from Ray F. Imschweiler’s funeral parlors, 1600 Edgmont av. Burial will take place at Middletown Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening.
