Hi, it's been a couple of weeks since asking if you wished to remain in the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'd appreciate you letting me know by the end of February if you desire to remain in the Project. If I haven't heard from you by then, I'll assume you no longer wish to participate. I hope to hear from you soon, thank you.

Hi Kathy, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you've done to improve the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'm doing a check-in with all project members and wanted to verify that you're still interested in being a member of the project. Also, any suggestions for the Project would be welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello,

I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.

If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

If we don't hear back from you we will assume that you no longer wish to participate in the project and if so, you could rejoin at any time as is convenient for you.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Regarding https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lewis-9863. This biography was auto-generated by a GEDCOM import. It's a rough draft and needs to be edited so it needs to be an open profile so descendants can be added with possible DNA matches showing up as well.

Hello Kathy, from San Antonio, Texas!

I'm a descendent of Aaron Parker and came across your information on this site. The information you've included on that part of the family has been so interesting and invaluable to my research. (I'm doing this as a "hobby" during this COVID crises, to keep from going crazy! LOL) Please reach out and say hello and let me know if there's any information I can provide to you, though I don't think I could add any more than you've found yourself.

Thanks so much!

Hi Kathy, do you have a source disproving parentage, as a basis for removing Rebecca's parents? I'm just curious. I am a confirmed DNA match to her son Joshua Carney, he is my 4th ggf. I also had good DNA matches to quite a few people on the Gulledge line that you removed her from, particularly Chuck Gulledge. I understand the reason for removing her from Barsheba Watts, but you also removed her from William Gulledge; you even state that the Barsheba who is daughter of John Watts is not the same who was married to William Gulledge - and you removed their connection. So, do you have a source for removal of William as father of Rebecca? Thanks.

Welcome to the 1776 Project (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:1776), a subproject of the Military and War Project: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Projects#Military_and_War_Project

There are category links to add to your ancestor's profiles and research links to learn more about your family. The Project is a good way to consolidate the WikiTree ancestors with historic connections to the years of 1773 (Boston Tea Party) to 1789 (ratification of the U.S. Constitution.) All patriot, loyalist, Hessians, French, Native Americans or any other profiles with a connection to these years should be linked to an appropriate category in the Project.

If you haven’t already, please set your preferences for your Tags Followed to include 1776 Project and any other tag terms that you wish to follow: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following

Some categories have a template (SAR) to add at the top of a biography. If not, add a category link by putting the category name such as Template:1776 for those who bore arms in the Revolution and Template:1776 for those who contributed patriotic or civil service. Thank you.

Thanks so much for the Find a grave on Hardy Frost. I sent a note to the person who created it. The article says he was 65 when he passed, and if it happened in 69, based on a July 4th birthdate, his birth year would have been 1904, not 1903. So, I am still wondering.....
