Biography

Philip Frost was born August 1, 1805. He was the son of John Frost and Lucretia Sabean. [1][2]

On January 1, 1829, he married Almira Goodwin.[3] They had at least seven children, possibly eight or more:

  1. Charlotte (1829-1891)
  2. Sarah (1831 - )
  3. Ann (1833-1909)
  4. Eunice (1837-1893)
  5. Rebecca (1838-1909)
  6. Stephen (1842 - )
  7. Maria (1844-1870)
  8. James (1848 - ) *uncertain

Between 1838[4] and 1861,[5] Philip moved from Argyle to Pubnico.

Almira passed away on December 1, 1855.[6] Philip survived her and appears to have remarried before 1861, to Mary Ann.[7][8] He died on July 30, 1871[9][10]
