Gilbert Edward Fry, son of Robert Fry and Susanna Tripp, [1] was born in 1870 in Winscombe, Somerset. [1]

On 2 April 1871 in Winscombe, Somerset, with his parents Robert Fry and Susanna Fry, his siblings John Fry aged 11, William Fry aged 9, George Bruges Fry aged 7 and Lilley Vashtie Fry aged 3 and four servants (Louisa Standfield aged 19, Allice Pool aged 13, George Emery aged 20 and Charles Mason aged 15). [1]
