Biography

Amy (Fry) Floyd was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Amy Fry was born in 1847 in Merri Creek, Port Philip Bay, New South Wales, in the future Colony of Victoria (from 1901 a State of Australia). She was the eighth of fourteen children of English emigrants, William Fry and Elizabeth Dunk. [1] She was christened in 1847 in St James' Church of England, Melbourne, Victoria.

Amy married William Floyd in 1874 in Brisbane, Queensland. [2] They had two children.

Amy passed away, aged 62 years, on 19th October 1910 in Queenland. [3]
