I have been gathering information and verifying, and now my father shows up as having a half brother which is incorrect. He had a brother born before him who only lived 3 months, A brother younger than him and a sister younger.

The 2024 WikiGames starts this Friday and the excitement has been building! Our WikiGames will take place over two weekends, with two events taking place each weekend: August 23 and 24 and also August 30 and 31.

You are on the Charming Chestnuts team and in "Heat III". What does Heat III mean? Your game time starts at 8am EDT/1pm UTC/10pm AEST and runs for 10 hours each. We will not know which team takes home the Gold Medal until the end of the games.

The Charming Chestnuts will communicate via G2G only as that was decided when you signed up. Please feel free to leave a G2G post anytime you have a question.

Hi, Judith, thank you for your edits on the ACadians. One tip, a wikitree policy is that we don't need to include the childrens baptism's on the parents profiles. Their sources belong on their own profiles. The extra sources clutter up the references that are for the parent themselves. I've removed those you added to a couple of Acadians to their own profiles. This will save you time :).

Hi Judith, Thank you for joining the June Connect-an-Officer Challenge, you worked on 6 officers. The Challenge had fifteen members working on connecting the Officers. We had 50 Officers connected to the WikiTree Community, there were 16 Officers who were connected to family, although not to the WikiTree Community, and 8 Officers who weren't connected to any family. The Challenge Tracker recorded 934 entries, although there would have been more, because not all the entries were recorded. Thank you again for all the work you did for the Challenge.

We will not have a US Civil War July Challenge, but in August we will be tackling the Marietta National Cemetery in Georgia
