Biography
Joseph Vincent Fry was born in 1763 in Rowan County, North Carolina Province. He married Mary Snow, in Stokes County, North Carolina, around 1798. They moved to Greene County, Indiana, where Mary passed away in 1849. Joseph was recorded on the 1850 US Census in Highland Township, Greene County, Indiana. He lived with his daughter, Matilda Fry, born about 1805 in Indiana and her daughter, Kessiah Fry. Joseph Fry passed away on the same farm in 1851. He was 88 years old.[1]
