Biography
John Frederick Stait Fryer was born in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England and his birth was registered there in 1879 March Quarter. [1][2] He was son of Benjamin Fryer and Charlotte Stait.
John Frederick Fryer's military service record gives his spouse as Martha E and their Marriage Date as 28 January 1911. He was born in Willenhall, Staffordshire on 24 January 1879. Before enlisting in the RAF, he was a Clerk (Shipping). Their child was Benjamin John F Raymond [3][4]
In 1911, John Frederick Stait Fryer and his wife, Martha Ellen Fryer were living in the house of John's widowed father, Benjamin Fryer (74, retired house painter, born in Willenhall, Staffordshire), along with his single sister, Charlotte Elizabeth Fryer (52, housekeeper, born in Birmingham, Warwickshire). John and Martha had been married less than a year and had had no childen yet. [5]
