THE LATE Mr. William Henry Fudge, late of Clare, widower of Bridget Fudge, who predeceased him by ten years, passed away at his daughter's residence at Bordertown on Sept. 20th. His remains were brought to Sevenhill by the Bordertown undertaker, and buried alongside his wife in the Sevenhill cemetery. The deceased was born at Kapunda on March 24. 1865. He had three brothers and five sisters; one sister (3 years older) and one brother (two years younger) survive him. Mr. Fudge was always very active for his age until two years ago. when he suffered ill health until his death. In his early years he took up farming in the Kapunda and Spalding districts; but after heavy losses in 1917 drought he moved to CIare, where he lived until a few years ago. He leaves 14 children, Mr. Sid Fudge, Whyalla; Laurie Fudge, Streaky Bay; Joe Fudge, Parkside; Leo Fudge, Norwood; George Fudge, Whyte Yarcowie; Perce Fudge, Bulgunnia Station; Adrian and Mick Fudge, Kilburn; Mrs. Cattermole and Mrs. Beaumont, Bordertown; Mrs. O'Keefe, Adelaide; Mrs. Northcott, Mintaro; Mrs. Bocian, Sevenhill East; Mrs. Alcock, Kilburn. He also leaves 34 grand children and 13 great grand children."
