Elizabeth was born in 1782. She married Braxton Clark in South Carolina and had five children with him before his death shortly after their arrival in Indiana Territory. In 1820, she married James Knowles [1]and two more children were born, Prudence, who died in infancy, and John Lowery Knowles. Elizabeth appears in the 1850 census as Elizabeth Knowles in a family of Clarks and Knowles [2] She passed away sometime after 1850.
