Caroline Fuller married Joseph Ladd on 6 April 1853 at Christ Church, North Adelaide, South Australia. ^[1]

Caroline passed away age 69 on 2 August 1897 in East Adelaide ^[2] and was buried in West Terrace Cemetery. ^{[3] [4]}

   In memory of Joseph Onesimus Ladd died June 12th 1882 aged 64 years. Having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end, also Caroline the beloved wife of the above died August 1st 1897 aged 69 years. All is dark within our dwelling, lonely are our hearts to day, for the one we loved so dearly, has for ever passed away. Joseph the loved son of above died Oct 25th 1929 aged 71 years, Mary loved wife of Joseph died Dec 23rd 1931 aged 70 years, Marjorie Elizabeth infant grand child of above died June 1920.
