Biography

Sheldon Fuller, the son of Ashbel Fuller and Loraine (Millard) Fuller, was born on August 20, 1787 at Ferrisburg, Vermont. [1]

Sheldon was about 13 when his father included him in the count for the 1800 United States Census.[2]

Sheldon and Hannah had the following children:[1]

  1. Lemira, b. February 10, 1809, m. April 25, 1827 Charles Edgerton, d. May 25, 1862.
  2. Leman, b. March 7, 1810.
  3. Loraine, b. June 24, 1812, d. May 17, 1813.
  4. Mary, b. July 21, 1813, d. June 2, 1815.
  5. Lovina, b. May 15, 1815, d. November 14, 1815.
  6. Alivira, b. September 15, 1817, d. April 4, 1894.
  7. Hiram M., b. July 11, 1823.
  8. Martha G., b. February 26, 1826, m. March 10, 1842 Daniel Peck,

Sheldon and his family moved to Rossie, New York. He engaged in manufacture of iron with his brothers Stillman, Ashbel and Heman in a nearby area that became known as Fullerville, New York.[1]

Sheldon died on September 18, 1865 in Fullerville, St. Lawrence County, New York.[1][3]
