Robert was born in 1854[1] in Northampton, Northamptonshire, England. He was the son of Robert Fuller and Elizabeth Farndell.[2] The family lived at 8 Abington Place in 1861.[3]
Robert married Emma Wood in 1870 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England.[4] At the time of the 1871 census, they were living with Emma's mother at 1 Hardy's Yard, Leicester, Leicestershire, England. Robert worked as a "clicker" in the boot and shoemaking industry.[5]
In 1881 the family lived at 2 Ecton Street, Northampton.[6] In 1891 they lived at 74 Ethel Street.[7]
By 1901 they had moved to 33 Fuller Street, Kettering, Northamptonshire.[8] In 1911 they lived at 216 Mill Road, and Robert had become a foreman clicker.[9]
Emma died in 1919.[10] At the time of the 1921 census Robert lived at 216 Mill Road with his daughter and son-in-law, Alice Maud and Charles Cox. Robert worked as a boot and shoe upper cutter.[11] In 1926 he worked as a bricklayer.[12]
