Biography
Catherine was born in 1874 in Pennsylvania. She was the child of Peter Joseph Funk (abt.1844-1912) and Sarah (Lawrence) Funk (1848-1893). [1] In 1900, she was living with her parents and siblings in McSherrytown, Pennsylvania. [2]
In 1901 she married Harry E. Mummert in McSherrytown, Pennsylvania. [3]
In 1920, she was living with her husband and 2 children, William and Mary Gladys in McSherrystown, Pennsylvania. Her husband was a cigar maker in a cigar factory, as were many of the men that lived nearby. [4]
Catherine died in 1922 at the age of 48 and is buried in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Conewago, Pennsylvania. [5]
