1823 Born in Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire
1841 At the census, aged 18 he was a teacher at Brunswick House, a school at St Andrew the Less, Cambridgeshire [1]
9 Jun 1852 Married to Jane Missing [2]
11 Nov 1852 Charles, Jane and the 1 year old William board the Bussorah Merchant for Australia
1853 Aged 30, Arrived in Australia on board the Bussorah Merchant as an assisted immigrant with his wife and 1 year old son, William [3]
1856 Attends a meeting at the freemason's Arms in George St, Sydney for the Australian Independant Excavator's Friendly Society. At the meeting, the tresurer resigned and passed monies over to the new treasurer [4]
16 Mar 1885 Dies. [5]
He is buried in Rydal General Cemetery, 13kms from Wallerawang where they were living. [6]

- We are not certain about Charles' mother, Phoebe. Ernest told Betty that her surname was Watson, however she is Baker in other records.
- I cant find a birth certificate for Charles. We will purchase if we find.
