Biography

Sarah Furman, daughter of Josiah Jr and Sarah Strickland Furman, married Ralph Hart, son of John Jr and Mary Hart. She died after August 22 1749 when she was executor, along with Ralph and Samuel their sons, of her husband's will. They are buried in the First Presbyterian Churchyard, Trenton, New Jersey. ^{[1][2] [3] [4] [5]}

Sarah is thought to be their eldest child, and so her birth is estimated at about 1681. She married Ralph Hart about 1699. See his memorial for a list of their children.Sarah was named co-executrix of her husband's will in 1749, along with sons Ralph and Samuel. Her own death date is not known, but it is assumed that she died in old Trenton Township (in the area now Ewing), where she resided, and that she was buried with her husband.
