Josephine Fuselier, daughter of Gabriel Fuselier and Helene Soileau,^[1] was born 10 May 1777 at Grand Prairie, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^{[citation needed]}

She married Henry Stagg.^[1]

Josephine died on 23 July 1850 at age 74, her death was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, Louisiana, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^[1]
