Hello, Kathleen!

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

Kind regards,

Pippin Sheppard – WikiTree Greeter

Thank you so much! I hope to be able to contribute some published Sublett research if it's not already on the tree, and try to understand how others were able to trace my line back to Queen Maud. Quite exciting.

P.S. When you have an ancestor you are stuck on, you can add the category "Family Brickwall" to their profile. That will make it so that other people will join in the search. To add the category, edit the narrative section of their profile page to put in as much as you do know and what the remaining questions are. Then at the very top of that area, above the biography section, add: ((Category:Family_Brickwall)), replacing the double parentheses with double brackets ]] on each end. (I can't show you directly due to formatting issues.)

Hi Kathleen,

Just a quick PS

Don't forget to Head over to the G2G forum. and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House or ask a question in any of the other categories. There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: for that "special" ancestor who is eluding you.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Best Wishes, and have fun adding your leaves and branches!

Thank you for organizing this great project! I have been trying to research my family on my mother's side for about ten years and have hit a few brick walls, so any assistance would be most welcome. Yes, I agree with your mission and nine rules.
