Oskar was born in 1878, midwife was Theresia Mayer. His godfather is Gustav Gaar, sales man from Wien I, Wipplingerstraße 6.
He was commander of the 3rd battery of the "k.k. Feldkanonenregiment Nr. 42" in Steyr.
In 1914 he was awarded with the Military Merit Cross 3rd Class with War Decorations ("Militärverdienstkreuz III. Klasse mit Kriegsdekoration"). [1]
In 1917, he was awarded a Knight 3rd class of the Imperial Austrian Order of the Iron Crown[2]. [3]
