George Milton Gabbart, Jr., 92 of Arkansas City died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Presbyterian Manor Health Care Unit.

Private family services will be held.

George was born March 31, 1927^[1] to George M. Gabbart, Sr and Kathryn (Dawson) Gabbart in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Corpus Christi High School in 1944 and also served in the United States Navy.

On September 20, 1947 he married Nelda Rountree in Corpus Christi.

George is survived by his son, Robert; daughter, Kathy; sister, Joann; sister, Mary Kathryn and several nieces and nephews; granddaughter, Allison; grandsons, Ryan and Clint; great grandsons, Brock, Brett and Wyatt Gabbart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nelda and brother, James Gabbart.
