Thomas Gabitas was baptised 15 June 1830 in Gamston, Retford, Nottinghamshire [1].
Jane Pickering married Thomas Gabbatass in 1852 in East Retford [2].
In 1861 he was a Farm Labourer living at Marr Grange (Doncaster) with his wife Jane and 4 children [3].
In 1871 Thomas was a mason's labourer living at Mount Pleasant, Conisbrough, Doncaster with wife Jane and 6 children [4].
He died in 1908 in East Retford [5]
