Joseph was born in 1880. Joseph Gabert ... He passed away in 1967. Joseph Gabert, 86 of Boyd died suddenly while shopping in Boyd at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Gabert was born July 25, 1880, in Vienna, Austria and moved to the United States with his parents when he was two years old. They settled on a farm north of Boyd. Mr. Gabert was married to Anna Ryba, May 10,1910, at St. -Joseph's Catholic Church in Boyd. They resided in Chippewa Falls for two years before moving back to Boyd where he operated a dray line for five years. Mr. Gabert later farmed and did carpenter work. Surviving are his wife. and six children, Raymond, Cadott Milton, Gilman; Gervase, Huntsville, Ala.; Mrs. Elvelyn Keyeski, Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Wilham Nelson, Chippewa Falls and Mrs. Earnest LaLonde, Niagara Falls, N.Y. Also surviving are 31 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Mr. Gabert was a member o the St. Joseph Holy .Name Society. He was a member of the Boyd Village Board for many years. Friends may call at the Supple Funeral Home from Friday afternoon until the time of the services at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. The parish rosary will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
