Deborah Gabitas was born on 5 Feb 1689 in Pennsylvania, daughter of William and Abigail Gabitas.
Deborah was the wife of Tobias Griscom. Their intent to marry was recorded in Quaker Meeting Records in 1710 in Burlington, New Jersey.
They settled on lands they inherited from Tobias's father in Gloucester, New Jersey and had children Andrew, Samuel, William, Tobias and Mary.
Deborah is mentioned in the will of Tobias Griscom, proved Jan 1719/20 in Newton Colony, New Jersey (a Quaker colony). The will indicates that they had children but does not name them. Her last name is not listed in the will.
It is not certain when she died, but it would be after 1720.
