(abstracted): Mortgage made 18 October 1867 by Michael Gabler and Magdelena Gabler his wife of Harford County, Maryland...owes and stands indebted to James Spicer ...sum of 150 dollars purchase money for a piece of land described on 9 May 1866 deed from James Spicer to Michael Gabler containing 46 acres 2 roods and 29 perches. Mortgage void if Micheal Gabler and Magdelena Gabler pay 150 dollars at the expiration of five years from the date hereof and shall pay and keep paid the interest.[12]

Pensel of Baltimore County...Maryland..for the sum of 400 dollars...said promissary note payable 16 February 1898. They deeded all parts of three tracts known as "Homer Resurveyed", "Onion's Inheritance", and "Good Endeavor" and described in Liber WHD No. 17 folio 257 Circuit Court of Harford County. Mortgage shall be void if promissary note is paid and all interest is paid yearly.[14]
(abstracted): Deed made 30 September 1897 by Michael Gabler and Magdalina Gabler his wife of Harford County...Maryland. In consideration for natural love and affection and the assumption of mortgages on the hereinafter described property by Mary Gabler, the said Michael Gabler and Magdalina Gabler his wife so grant and convey unto the said Mary Gabler, widow, her heirs, assigns...all parts of three tracts called "Homer Resurveyed", "Onion's Inheritance", and "Good Endeavor."[15]

I did research for you the location of the land on the Harford County, MD, map, that Michael Gabler and wife bought from James and John Spicer, 1866. I located the farm location in Harford County using several online records using land Michael Gabler bought which was part of "Homer Resurveyed."
