Nancy, I finally located the record of Estate of Charles Gabler (Carl Fredrich Gabler, on Findagrave) in the FamilySearch microfilm probate records of Baltimore, MD. dated 6 July 1880. There was an Administrator named, therefore he did not leave a will. The record listed bank stock administrated by a banker, W. S. Whitely, Jr. likely William Stevens Whiteley, Jr. on FamilySearch Family Tree who was a banker per census data. NO Gabler family legatee was listed, and I am sorry for that. I could not locate a direct link of Michael Gabler per estate records, but strange for at time of death Charles Gabler has sons and daughters per Findagrave (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/32381444/carl-friedrich-gabler) SOURCE: FamilySearch Digital Collections. I did research for you the location of the land on the Harford County, MD, map, that Michael Gabler and wife bought from James and John Spicer, 1866.
