Biography

Cpl. William Gabriel served in the United States Civil War.

William was born in Ohio in 1829, the son of Henry Gabriel and Elizabeth Penrod.[1] He married in Ohio Catharine Friedline in 1850,[2] and Ester A. Winget in 1862.[3] William served as a Corporal in the Union Army, Company I, 7th Regiment, Ohio Cavalry.[4] He passed away in 1908 and is buried in Barnett, Missouri.[5]
