Biography

George was born in Kansas in 1864, the son of Leander Gabriel and Serelda Thompson.^[1] He married Laura Richter in Oklahoma in 1904.^[2] George passed away in 1931 and is buried in Nowata, Oklahoma.^[3]

Notes

• The Gabriel Family History says George was born in Missouri, ^[4] as do the 1880 and 1930 Censuses, but other censuses say he was born in Kansas, including the 1865 Kansas Census, taken when he was one year old.
