Biography

Lucille Rose Gaca was born on 6 October 1916 in Michigan, United States [1] to Andrew Gaca and Helen Ziomkowski. In 1920, Lucille was living with her parents and brother, Raymond, in Grand Rapids Ward 1, Kent, Michigan, United States. [2]

Lucille's father passed away unexpectedly in 1930, and her mother was in an in-patient treatment facility.

Lucille completed 2 years of high school. [3]

In June of 1937, Lucille obtained a marriage license with Felix J. Koltak. She was 20, and he was 22. [4]

In 1940, Lucille and Felix were living in Ward 1, Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan, United States with Lucille's siblings: Raymond Gaca, Joseph Gaca and Rose Marie Gaca. [5]

In 1977, Lucille and Felix were living in Morley, Michigan, United States in 1977. [6]

Lucille passed away on 19 February 2000. She is buried at Saint Apollonia Cemetery in Morley, Mecosta County, Michigan, United States. [7]

Lucille's obituary reads: "Mrs. Lucille R. Koltak (nee Gaca), aged 83, of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2000. Surviving are three children, Patricia Ann (William) Wright, Larry (Susan) Koltak, Terry Koltak of Ester, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Mary Jo Jezowski, Tori Koltak, and Tyler Koltak; one brother, Joseph (Lucille) Gaca; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix; sister, Rose Chlebana; brother, Ray Gaca; and granddaughter, Laura Wright. It was Lucille's wish to be cremated. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday at 7 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Alpine. Interment Christ the King Church Cemetery, Morley, Michigan. The family will receive visitors Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan or the Leukemia Society will be appreciated."
