Biography

Rose Marie Gaca was born on 12 April 1925 in Michigan, United States ^[1] to Andrew Gaca and Helen Ziomkowski. ^[2]

Rose's father passed away unexpectedly in 1930, and her mother was in an in-patient treatment facility.

In 1940, Rose was living in Ward 1, Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan, United States with her sister, Lucille, her sister's husband, Felix Koltak, and her siblings, Raymond and Joseph. ^[3]

Rose married Joseph Chlebana on 9 October 1948. ^[4]

Rose and Joe were living in Shelbyville, Michigan, United States in 1977. ^[5]

Rose passed away on 30 April 1998. ^[6] She is buried at Germond Cemetery in Bradley, Allegan County, Michigan, United States. ^[7]

Rose's obituary reads: "Rose Marie Chlebana, aged 73, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, April 30 1998 at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids. She is survived by her husband, Joseph and children, Joan Chlebana-Stark of California, Joe Chelbana of Gun Lake, Raymond (Donna) Chlebana of Shelbyville; four grandchildren; her brother, Joe (Lucille) Gaca and sister, Lucille Koltak both of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Gaca. The V.F.W. Post #7581 Ladies Auxiliary Service of Remembrance will be 7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Saturday at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church with Father Gary Pamment as celebrant. The family will greet relatives and friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home." ^[8]
