Ruth was born on 30 January 1894 in Ulum, Pulaski, IL. She was the daughter of Lewis Joseph Gadbois and Margaret Isabel Hyde.^[1]

In the 1900 census Ruth (age 6) was living in Naron Township, Pratt, Kansas.^[1]

In the 1910 census Ruth (age 16) was living in Harrisburg Ward 3, Saline, Illinois.^[2]

In the 1920 census Ruth (age 25) was living in Sparta, Randolph, Illinois.^[3]

In the 1930 census Ruth (age 36) was living in Marion, Williamson, Illinois.^[4]

In 1959 according to a city directory Ruth (age about 64) was living in Boulder, Colorado, USA.^[5]

Ruth died at the age of 66 on 19 December 1960 in Boulder, Boulder, CO.^[6]
