DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Charles by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Charles:

Dna was not used to confirm parental relationships, I used family history . Thank you Kay for the time
My grandfather does not have a DNA test. I know about my Grandfather Charles Walter Gaddis from my father John Morris Gaddis. Also Ancestry.com has him as my Grandfather. Also there is an error on his page that I don't know how to correct. His brother William Alfred is listed twice. this is the William Alfred that you merged. I would give ID numbers but that means leaving page and I do not know how to get back. Also I have been trying to access my DNAportal. I don't know where togo to. This is a lot. Thank you for your time.
Shirley,

If you don't understand how to document DNA confirmations on WikiTree, please don't mark any parental relationships 'confirmed with DNA'. You can read the detailed instructions about DNA confirmations by clicking on the link in my previous comment. Because there is no DNA confirmation statement on this profile, I've changed his relationship to his parents to 'confident'.

The reason his brother William Alfred is listed twice is because you created another duplicate profile for his brother. Once you merge them, there will be only one brother displayed. Click on the link to either one of them. Then scroll down to the bottom of his profile. On the left side near the bottom you will see the "Matches and Merges" section. Click on the "link" for "merge" for the duplicate profile. That will take you to a page where you can complete the merge. Let me know if that doesn't work, or if you still have questions.
