Biography

Carrie was born in 1900 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of Miles M. Gaddis and Nancy Ann Johnson.

She married Theodore Burton Ledford in Polk County, Tennessee in 1913. They had seven children together, six sons, and one daughter.

After he died in 1958, she remarried. In 1964 she married Marvin Charles Bryant in Blue Ridge, North Carolina, and remained with him until she passed away.

She passed away in 1981 in North Carolina and was buried in Temple Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy, North Carolina.
