WEDDING (1) REPORT. Bride in Ice Blue Satin. THE wedding, of Miss Daphne Mollie Gaden, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Gaden, of Wooroloo, to Mr. Horace Appleton, second son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Appleton, of Buxton-street, Mt- Hawthorn, took place at St. Mary's yesterday. The bride, given away by her father, wore a frock of ice blue satin, fashioned with high neckline and panel of fancy herring from neck to waist at the front. A girdle with long ends was tied at the waist, and the fitting skirt swept to a long train. A veil of blue silver-edged tulle, appliqued with silver lace, was held with a coronet of orange blossom and mother of pearl, and she carried a sheaf of blue blossoms tied with silver ribbon, The bridesmaid, Miss Florrie Appleton, wore a frock of magnolia satin, with shirring at the front, draped sleeves and fitting skirt. A top-knot of lemon roses was worn, and she carried a sheaf of flowers in pale lemon and blue. Mr. Gordon Appleton, was best man. A reception was held at the Green Gate, Mrs. Gaden and Mrs. Appleton receiving. The former wore a black ensemble with ostrich-trimmed hat, Mrs. Appleton choosing a rust costume with black hat and green feather. The three-tier wedding cake, iced in white and pastel blue, was made and decorated by Mrs. Appleton. The bride's travelling frock was of fuchsia wool crepe with black accessories and hat. The frocking and floral work was done by Derry's, Barrack-street, Mr. and Mrs. H. Appleton will make their home at Wooroloo.
