"Elizabeth "MNU" married CHRISTIAN GAFFNER in 1858/59.
The 4 oldest children born in Illinois

They moved to Omaha, Douglas Co. NE. by 1870 census.
Then having 1 more child, Emma Nathelia, age 2.
(Emma is my GG-Grandmother).
In 1872 Christian helped incorporate the town of Grand Island, NE. By 1874 the family had moved to Denver, Colorado.

"Christian Gaffner formerly of Denver, is now running the California Hotel, at Franktown, and intends giving a grand ball October 2."

On Feb. 4, 1876 Elizabeth married Leopold "Leo" Noftz. Having 3 more children with Leo Nofts they are, Albert, Minnie & Jessie.

Elizabeth & Leo are in the 1880 Douglas Co. Colorado census.
