Biography
When William John Gaffney was born on November 25, 1926, in Cook County, Illinois, his father, Richard, was 22 and his mother, Jessie, was 23. He married Jean Maureen Siggins on May 16, 1953, in Cook County, Illinois. They had three children during their marriage. He died on January 27, 2013, in Cape Coral, Florida, at the age of 86, and was buried in Fort Myers, Florida.
