November 2, 1678 -- Thomas Gage was born at Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, a son of Lieutenant Thomas Gage and Sarah Unknown Gage.[1]
March 15, 1685 -- Christened
December 10, 1697 -- Thomas Gage and Mary Smith married [2] at Essex County, Massachusetts. They first settled on a piece of land in Rowley called "Hobson's Close". About 1718 he removed with his family to Milford, Massachusetts.
1699 - 1721 -- Thomas and Mary Smith Gage had 10 children: six daughters (Sarah, Hannah, Mary, Mehitable, Mercy, and Elizabeth) and three sons (John, Moses, and Samuel). They also had one infant who died whose gender is not given.[1]
May 25, 1723 -- Thomas Gage bought Seth Chapin's farm of 80 acres (in Milford, on Sherborne Road).[1][3]
1742 -- Thomas Gage died then was buried at the Ancient Burying Ground, Bradford, Essex County, Massachusetts Province. [4]
