Biography

Sarah Gage was born 4 February 1813 in New York State, the daughter of Abram and Polly (Boynton) Gage.

She was the first wife of Harvey Olmstead/Olmsted and they had four children:

1. Clarissa, b. 1835, d. 1853
2. Elijah, b. 1837; m. Mary Smith
3. Child, b. & d. 1839
4. Child, b & d. 1841

Sarah died 11 Jul 1841, probably at the farm home ion Springfield Township, and is buried in the Rogers Cemetery, LaGrange County, Indiana. ^[1]
