Corporal Daniel Gage served with 1st New Hampshire Regiment (1777), Continental Army during the American Revolution.
Daniel, the son of Daniel Gage and Ruth Kimball was born on 8 September 1745 at Pelham, New Hampshire.[1]
Corporal Daniel Gage served in the American Revolution with the First Regiment of the New Hampshire Army.[2]
Daniel married Elizabeth Greenough, the daughter of William and Hannah (Atwood) Greenough on 27 May 1779 at Bradford, Essex, Massachusetts.[3]They had at least three children born in New Hampshire:
Elisabeth Gage (b. 15 May 1770; d. 4 Oct 1845, Lowell, MA), [4][5]m. Joseph Kittredge (1775-1832)
Joanna Gage (b. 1781),[6]m. 1 Mar 1802 at Pelham, NH, Samuel Richardson (1775-1851)
Daniel Gage (b. 29 Jun 1785; d. 1852),[7]m. 1807 at Hudson, NH, Hannah Church (1785-1839)
The death date for Daniel Gage of Pelham is uncertain. One Ancestry record suggests 1784. Given that his son was born in late June 1785, Daniel would have died say November 1784, likely at Pelham, New Hampshire.
