A review of baptismal indices from Corleone, 1726-1741 has yielded only one potential match for Simone:
Simone Leoluca Gregorio Gagliano is born and baptized on 28 October 1739 in Corleone. He is the son of Filippo Gagliano and Margherita Vitrano. His godparents are Domenico Pipia and Natalia, wife of Stefano Guagliardo.[1]
Simone marries Anna Gebbia, daughter of the late Maestro Michaele and the living Antonia, on 8 July 1753. His parents have died.[2]
Simone and Anna have at least two children, Pietro (c. 1755) and Angelo (c. 1774).
Death of Simone
Simone dies at the age of 46 (b. 1735) in Corleone in July 1781. His wife, Anna, survives him.[3]
Maestro Pietro marries Bernarda Palazzo on 6 June 1795.[4]
Maestro Angelo marries Francesca Mule' on 7 September 1802. Anna has also died.[5]
