Biography

Francesca Gagliardo is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Bernardo Gagliardo and Bernarda Sangiorgi, who married in 1831. She is named after her paternal grandmother.

Her mother dies in 1833.

Francesca marries Francesco Mistritta, son of Pasquale Mistritta and Maria Dragna, on 3 June 1855. Her parents have both died by this time.^[1]

Francesco and Francesca have at least one child, Maria (c. 1856), named after her paternal grandmother.

Maria marries Antonino Nigliazzo, a recent widower, on 22 October 1876. Francesco has died by this time.^[2]
