He remarries on 1 March 1802 in Lachine, Québec, Canada with Catherine Vincent dite Morrisseau, daughter of Jean Baptiste Vincent dit Morrisseau and Amable Langlois dite Traversy.

he dies in 1824, aged 68 per funeral record.

Catherine Vincent dies 21 July 1832 in Montreal, aged 70.
