Marriage Marie Catherine Gagnon married Alexis (Moret) Morest, son of Louis Morais and Marie Thérèse Bois, on 8 Jun 1761 in Notre-Dame-de-Liesse parish of Rivière-Ouelle. In the presence of known witnesses Jean Morest, Joseph Leveque and François Gagnon. [Act states: The last name of the husband's mother has been omitted - The three bans have been published][3]
Death and Burial Marie Catherine Gagnon, wife of Alexis Morais, passed away on 23 Dec 1819 being given the age of around 78 years on the record. Her burial was the 25th in Notre-Dame-de-Liesse parish cemetery of Rivière-Ouelle.[4]
